Safety:- Product safety testing is very essential human to life to ensure products are free from hazardous when it is being used. There instances when the product is not designed with respect to standards there may be failures or operational issues or hazardous while using, so to overcome the safety issues IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) has come with many safety standards with respect to products. So products must comply with relevant safety standards and Conformity assessment shall make the world safer and more efficient. However product can tested in line with IEC / UL / VDE / CSA / BSI standards etc.

Electro Magnetic Compatibility:- Testing is to safeguard the electronic or electrical devices doesn't emit an enormous quantity of electromagnetic interference and it is also known as radiated and conducted emissions. The device continues to function as expected in the presence of several electromagnetic occurrences also. Assessing how a device will react when exposed to electromagnetic energy is one component of this is known as immunity (or susceptibility) testing.

When device fails to meet the EMC then it can have product failure, safety related to issues or any kind of data loss. To ensure EMC is under tolerance, the product needs to be tested on applicable standards, Examples: - CISPR, IEC 61000 series of which are applicable to EMC and IEC PAS 62437, FCC standards and etc.

Electromagnetic Interference:- EMI testing is well-defined as an electromagnetic energy which disturbs the functioning of electronic devices. Sometimes EMI causes can be naturally happening or environmental events, such as electrical storms and solar radiation etc.. Sometimes called, radio frequency interference (RFI), EMI - testing equipment's measurers the amount of electromagnetic noise generated by a device during normal operation it is under standard limit or not, however regulatory bodies have set specific limits on the amount of unwanted emissions that can be emitted from a device. So keep the product under EMI tolerance, testing is required.

RoHS:- is a product level compliance based on the European Union's Directive 2002/95/EC. The Restriction of the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). Products must compliant with this directive and do not exceed the allowable amounts of the following restricted materials: Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE), Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP).

Environmental:- testing is the measurement of the performance of equipment under specified environmental conditions, such as: Extremely low and Extremely high temperatures. Solar radiation, Low air pressure, Damp heat with cyclic, Blown and settling sand and dust, Salt spray and salt fog, vibration, Dry heat so on. When some of the products fail to meet the different environmental conditions then products may not perform as it is expected and result in failure and hence this testing is required. IEC 60068 series standard is applicable to diversity of Environmental testing requirements.

Testing of IT / AV / Household appliances / LED luminaires / Control gear / UPS / Invertors / Solar Products / Voltage Switchgear / Components / Modules / Batteries / Cells and Medical equipment will allow manufacturers market their products to world-wide by complying safety standards.
